The Fort Johnson-KNF Oversight Committee met quarterly during FY23 to review and evaluate SEMP monitoring results. Committee meetings were held in November 2022, and February, May, and August 2023 at Fort Johnson, Louisiana.

The Oversight Committee approved two public complaints metrics under Objective 4-2 during FY23. Metrics approved in FY23 addressed the remaining unaddressed monitoring questions published in the EIS. Additional SEMP metrics are not anticipated in the future; however, replacement or modification of existing metrics remains a possibility as new methodologies and specific concerns may change. In total, 106 of 106 or 100 percent of required metrics have now been approved by the Oversight Committee.

The SEMP FY23 Implementation Status Table identifies the SEMP objectives for which monitoring, and evaluation protocols were approved and initiated as of the end of FY23. Monitoring and evaluation are now ongoing for all SEMP objectives; however, because there were no Army new construction projects on KNF lands in FY23, no reporting occurred under Objective 3-2 in FY23.
