The Fort Polk-KNF Oversight Committee met quarterly during fiscal year (FY) 2015, with meetings held in October, January, April and July.

The Oversight Committee approved a total of 16 new measures under Objective 2-3, Louisiana Pine Snake (LPS) Conservation. These measures were developed to correspond with annual reporting metrics contained in the Revised Candidate Conservation Agreement (CCA) for the LPS and to facilitate reporting to the US Fish and Wildlife Service of LPS conservation activities conducted by Fort Polk and the Kisatchie National Forest (KNF). The CCA was signed by Fort Polk, the KNF and other cooperators in 2013.

In addition, several changes and additions to measures under SEMP Objectives 1-1 and 2-2 were approved by the Oversight Committee.

The FY 2014 Monitoring and Evaluation Status Summary Table identifies the SEMP objectives for which monitoring and evaluation protocols were approved and initiated as of the end of FY 2014, along with the future years in which monitoring and evaluation for the remaining SEMP objectives is expected to begin.

As of the end of FY 2014, monitoring and evaluation was underway for 11 of 14 SEMP objectives, and development of metrics and performance targets had begun for an additional 2 objectives. A copy of the metrics and performance targets approved as of the end of FY 2014 is available here.
